the zookie story

zookie was born in the Fall of 2011, but we've been making beautiful wedding albums since 1995, supplying professional photographers under the Zookbinders brand. Now these same high quality albums are available directly to brides and grooms.

All of the magic happens in our single facility in suburban Chicago. That means the developers who built this website eat lunch with the designers who "told the story" of your album. The lab techs who print your photos eat lunch with the album crafters who tie the purple ribbon on your white box before it ships. zookie is a tightly-knit family owned business, and you can see it in everything we do.

zookie was created to ensure that every couple who wants a designer album can have one. And we made it easy. Really easy. Each simple step was carefully planned with you in mind, so that your time on our site is time well spent.
